Random misfire
I recently got a 01 xj with a rebuilt motor that has been bored .20 over, and bigger pistons
The motor had 0 miles on it when I put it in, it now has 800
When it throws the code I don't notice any power loss of sound difference.
And when I clear the code it won't come back untill I shut the car off and start it up again, even then it's not a guarantee.
I've replaced the plug rail, plugs, crank position sensor, injector harness plugs .And I don't know where to go from here.
The only other code I'm getting is a P0705 that says transmission range sensor circuit A, which believe is a faulty nss.
The code for the misfire is P0301
Also the Jeep smells like gas, strong smell
