Default Raptor Lining flares/lower cladding

Got a 93 XJ Country with the tan colored fender flares/lower cladding and bumpers. The white paint above the cladding is in great shape, but the flares and cladding are all faded and needs to be dealt with. So, my bright idea is to use a tan Raptor liner kit and bring those area back to life while adding some protection to the lower body against rock chips and such.

Any pro/cons to this plan? Also, having trouble figuring out how many quarts it will take as the reviews and videos on the subject are all over the place when it comes to coverage.

Why not just use tan paint? To each his own, but Raptor lining or any of that stuff looks, at best, goofy on the body of a vehicle. Most everything that you would be covering is plastic so rust isn't an issue and I can tell you like to do things right and take care of your stuff, so I wouldn't think rust in the rockers to be a problem for you, especially in Texas.

When I had my '88 Laredo, the gray wore like yours. I repainted it all the factory gray and it turned out great. Really made it look good again.

Actually, it might just be the picture uploaded here, but that looks like it may have been repainted once already.

2x looks like someone already sprayed them. I'm not really a fan of that tan/gold color. I vote for matte black.

Agreed, doing the whole thing usually does not look good, but I get it if you're building a hard core off road rig. My thought process is to fix the faded trim and provide some protection against rock chip and such. I've thought about doing a different color, but I really don't mind the tan/gold and the better half likes it.
