A “RARE” Option! Haha.
I found this in the back of my Cherokee when I bought it and recently cleaned it..
Since the center console does not have a factory cup holder (that I could find)
Was this some kind of dealer part one could by from the parts department?

It's OEM. My Dad's 94 came with it from the dealer.
It's nice that you have it, I had to buy one since I wanted the original style and it wasn't cheap - Summit racing sells new ones but they're over $30 (compared to the aftermarket ones that fit over the e-brake that are like $10). As you have a stick like myself, you know that you don't want something interfering with your e-brake in a manual jeep.
Also - thumbs up on the stick shift. AX15 for the win!

There are 2 at the top and one for the lower. In your pic you can see the two slots right at the top on the black trim.
I'll snap a pic of mine and post it.

Does yours have the lower clip? I think they are known for breaking off - it's kind of important to support the weight.
You can see the screw I had to put in on mine since the console was separating a bit and the clips kept popping out.

Does it have any part numbers on it? I'm currently looking at getting a later center console which is difficult and expensive over here as I hate the e-brake cup holder. One of these might be a better option.

These were 4/$1, but I think the price has at least doubled. No harm in adding the tape before it breaks. Actually works well, you just can't always move the seat froward.

Thank you very much. I've just seen a picture of someone modifying the e-brake one to fit there so I may try that. If it works there but I don't like my butchering of it, I'll order one from across the pond.

NOT! I prefer "filthy". (dirt and dust). If I didn't leave it unlocked it might be "nasty", any cheeseburgers or french fries are always gone in the AM!, nothing seems to be alive....at this point. BTW that stock or 'correct" cup-holder would hit me (or any adult), in the leg, looks pretty uncomfortable.
