rear coil conversion
I was just wondering what are the advantage to doing this and how hard of a conversion is this???

Interesting. You might get flamed on pirate if you dont know what you are talking about. And this SITE has more to offer than that. We just tend to stick to technical problems rather than build and custom fabrication problems.

Clayton sells the rear link set up. The advantages tho.... I'm not sure. I'm getting ready to due a front leaf conversion with 1 tons tho. It's just preference. Theres likes and dislikes to both. Most would say more flex with coils on all fours, some would say predictability with leaves all around. I've seen arm LCA mounts break off the axle and I've seen leaves snap in two on the trail.

more rear flex... If you're really trying to set up a serious rig then you'll know why you need it... If you have good travel in the front, the rear doesn't really need to travel excessively .... Check out some of the serious builds on NAXJA; it becomes apparent what the advantages are
