Not everybody is skinny enough to crawl under a non-lifted
Jeep to look at the differential. There has to be an easier way.
Mabongs2, look at this
http://www.automobile-catalog.com/ca...sport_2_4.html
and see the section "Transmission specifications"
Click there on "Full specifications" and look in the section
"Drivetrain" for the final drive ratio.
and then tell us where you're from, unless you are really one
of Cruiser's neighbors in scenic Prescott, Arizona.

I guess the humor just wasn't seen by people...
...I did chuckle however.
If he's calling it a Cherokee and it's an '04, he lives overseas.
Also, it has a 4.10 ratio.
https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C...k1.vcG7oXuuBIY
Took less than a second to get the result.

No, I don't lick fish.
You're kidding right? I'm 280lbs and I've crawled under plenty of non-lifted jeeps to see the diff tag. The front and rear diffs are the easiest parts of the Jeep to get to. Only time it's a PITA is on a WJ 'cause of that big *** fuel tank that hangs down and almost drags the ground.

Yeah, I was just kidding. I know Cruiser54 funs with
people, too. The original poster wrote in good English
but probably had to use a dictionary to translate anything
else. I hope he comes back. At least he knows now
that he has 4.10 gears.
This was on a tag:
.............XJ lift size chart
..For ease of movement under your XJ
..(add about 1.5" if you use a creeper)
If your waist size is... Lift your Jeep...
................40"...................1.5"
................42"...................2"
................44"...................3"
................46"...................3.5"
................48"...................4"
................50"...................5"
................52"...................6"
