Rear-end

I recently bought a 1989 Cherokee and have done some stuff to it and have now broke the yoke on the rear end and need to know what rear diff it has so I can find the right yoke. Thnks for any help.

If its like most it will have a dana 30 in the front and I believe it should have a 8.25 chrystler rear end

Parts aren't generally interchangeable like that. In any case, the '89 should have the Dana 35. It *might* be a D44 if you have the factory "Tow Package." 8.25's weren't used til 1991.
