Rear end noises?

If you have any junk yards where you pull the parts yourself, look for a 1998 or newer XJ with the 8.25.
They had the 29 spline units.
I went in and found an XJ that was totaled for front end damage and pulled the 8.25 after confirming the axle ratio's matched.
IMPORTANT: make sure the axle you buy is the same ratio you have or you'll have to regear it.
The one I bought looked like it came with brand new brake hardware and drums and cost me $85.
It looked like the guy was on his way home from getting the brakes down when he had the wreck.
