Default rear leaf springs/3 inch lift

Hey guys, i have a 1999 cherokee sport. i need rear leaf springs on my jeep, but im also looking into getting a 3 inch lift for it. so my question is, what would be my cheapest route? get a rear leaf springs then the lift, get a lift with a rear add-a-leaf, or something else? thanks for any input

If it were me, since you need new springs, no need in just putting an add-a-leaf in. I would get a set of leaf springs which provide you with 3" of lift. Some company's will have this as an option when ordering your lift kit.

yeah, me and a buddy. but we did it in buddy's shop. at least the springs, leafs and shocks. but here's the deal. the springs ended up being 5" of lift. i put a spacer in the front, but most people just take one of the leafs off. i think the spacer is well worth it.

one more thing. i don't know if anyone told you this, but you'll loose gas mileage with the lift alone, even if you don't put bigger tires on. but i solved that, and even better... i'm getting better gas mileage with the lift, than i did before. if you wish to know, i'll walk you through it.

my flowmaster is new, so it's dead quiet, even with a "high flow cat"(if you know what i mean). but it gets deeper. i have an 04 Dakota and it got deeper in a year. i don't drive much though.
