Default Rear main and oil pan.

I replaced the rear man seals and the oil pan gasket but it still leaks!! What should I do? How can I fix it?

I did mine and it was still leaking for a day or two and it just STOP leaking after that.
I read many similar incidents, so i have to suspect that there is just some left over leaked oil in the torque converter.

Ive seen rear mains get replaced and leak as bad and worse than before. Not on an XJ, but on a few different vehicles over the years, most recently a buddies Ford pickup.
