yep, just drop the pan ( after you drain the oil of course) and remove the rear bearing cap, we used a piece of stiff wire to push the old seal out of the grooves in the block enough to grab it with needle nose pliers and slide it out the rest of the way, replace it in the reverse order, and changed the seal in the bearing cap, installed the bearing cap and tourqued it to spec, ( 80Ft/Lb I believe) reinstalled the oilpan and new gasket and all done. no need to pull tranny or anything...good luck.
