Default Rear main seal stuck

I can't get the upper seal out. I saw that some people loosened some of the other bolts on the crank to give it some room to move. Does that work? If so what do I torque those back to? And do I torque them then put the new upper seal in? Or put the seal in then torque them?
Thanks!

What are you using to push it out? I was using too small of a hammer for a while. I thought it was stuck too. i Used a heavier one and I pushed it out very easily after that with just one hit.
