Sounds more normal anyway. If you put the rear end on jack stands, put it in gear and test the brakes, do the wheels stop in a similar timeframe or does the passenger drag/stop quicker than the driver's?

Now maybe the driver's side need to be adjusted out a bit to match?

So you replaced your rear shoes... and decided that the factory had no clue what they where doing and you dont need some of the main parts that keep your brakes working properly ?smart

Yep. That spring loaded thing that moves the star wheel is pretty important.

Yes... but... You where smart enough to pass the drivers test to get your License....you should have been smart enough to know if you dont know how to do something when it concerns your life and others... take it some place that does or get help... Im only raggin on you because you can kill someone real quick with faulty brakes.... Get a chiltons book on our jeeps... read it cover to cover... then you can tackle jobs...but get help if you are not sure... you can kill someone to easy when it comes to brakes...
Just be more carefull please :}

hte adjustyer is nice to have in the real world we live in they work perfect all the time but most the time afte getting a little water and mud in the drums they stop working thats why the slot is there to occ slide under and adjust them out anti seize on the star threads lets you have the best chance of them working 50 percent of the time
