Rear seat belt bolts
trying to remove them to get the carpet out, but it seems like they really dont want to come out. I get them to a certain point and then its no budge.
any suggestions besides PB blaster? are they more than just threaded on? is there some sort of weld I'm battling too?

Their threaded into the body. And they usually suck to get out. did you spray pb underneath too? I've had times were I resorted to breaking the head of the bolt off and drilling the rest out.

If you have the tools to do so, weld a nut onto the top of the bolt and hit it with an impact wrench. That's what I did...after ruining the bolt head and the torx bit I was using

thanks all who have given ideas. no access to welder here, and I'd if possible like to keep the bolt and threads so i don't have to retap and all.
sounds like most people have problems with these. I've already almost ruined my torx bit and one head. ugh.
I did spray PB underneath too, and maybe i just need to be more patient and let it soak in more.

I don't know how well MAPP gas would go over with carpet. I ripped my carpet out today and I just sliced the carpet instead of dealing with the bolts. I never planned on putting the carpet back, but it was a clean cut and would've been barely noticeable if I did put it back in. I'm repairing a whole crap load of rust right now and that carpet must've weigher 150 pounds with all the water soaked into it. No carpet is ever going back in.
