blast the crap out of em with penetrating oil and go slow, then when they break it seems you need to cut a hole in the floor and use nuts and bolts

When they break, get an air hammer and hit them and the weld not will break loss and then get new nuts bolts and washers.

You don't have to cut holes!!! air hammer the welded nuts out, tape a new bolt to a box end wrench and fish it into the hole through the triangular hole in that area. put a nut on it , repeat for the other one. Mount the shock, repeat on the other side. Takes about 20 minutes if you work slow! Here's a write up http://www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums...d.php?t=810303

Sorry finneys ! I've already done mine, Only problem I had was my impact twisted the Rt lower stud off! Had to grind it off, drill a hole through the mount and incrementally move it up to the right size and get a Grade 8 bolt for it. My 20 minute project ( upper bolts took 20 minutes)took a couple hours.
