rear spring drivers side making bad noise. everything looks and feels tight

You can have someone move the vehicle up and down on that side by having them stand on the bumper while you inspect. Likely candidates are:
1. Broken leaf spring eyelet (up inside the front spring bracket/box)
2. Leaf spring friction (the leafs sliding on each other making a racket)
3. Disconnected shock absorber (sometimes they break off at the top mounts)
4. Noisy shock absorber (making a lot of noise as they go up and down)
You have not described the nature of the noise.
