I ran with a sway bar for a while, then ditched it.
With the vehicle empty there is no noticable difference... not around town and not on the highway.
With the vehicle loaded up with gear to be self sufficient for several days (stove/bbq/coolers with drinks/food, 20 gallons of water, tents/tarps/chairs/tables and all that good stuff) if is noticable in the turns on the highway.
Not to the point of being a concern let alone a danger, but it is noticable.
Loaded down I would like to have the sway bar back, but, not badly enough to install mine or look into disconnects.
If he's not going to have 5-700lbs of gear filling the back and sinched down on the roof, he'll never know it's gone.
As for the front bar, I never run on the street without it hooked up. It does make a significant difference.

I was thinking the same route. I have 31x10.50 on factory 15x8 and the tire is real close. I tow a trailer when my buddies n I go riding. sometimes 3 quads gear, gas, people. would wheel spacers b better for my situation? I get some full turn rub in front to if that helps thanks

All depends on the application my Jeep is stock height with no plans for a lift. Plus I like to pitch it into turns, I get a kick watching losers in the rearview, almost crash cause they tailgate & can't drive.
