yeah, thats exactly what i did actually.. i forgot he had a stock bumper.. Yeah im not sure about that with a stock bumper, cuz they are about as thick as a tin can.. I have a nice custom one with D rings right where it mounts to the frame, thats why i suggested it..

it just doent seem like it because when you buy an aftermarket bumper they bolt in the same place as the stock one, i think that i need to look more into it becasue i am sounding like i know nothing about cherokees

haha wella ftermarket bumpers wither have more mounting points and go further back on the unibody or they have an additional peice of metal that goes on the other side and sandwiches the unibody
