Exclamation Rear U-Joint problem! Need help

I've gone through 3 u-joints on the rear driveshaft(axle end) in the last month and a half or so and it's starting to get ridiculous. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I grease them up every time I install one. I can't seem to figure it out. Any help at all would be great. Thanks!

there's two little tabs on the yoke (the part on the axle that the joint sits in) those tabs get worn off or broke off and the u joint works its way crooked and blows.

i went through the same thing many years ago, replaced maybe 4 u joints before someone clued me in. check that first.

the arrows in this pic are pointing at the little tab, its on the round part where the u joint sits. see if one is worn down or gone.

Yes sir, that little piece is gone on one side. Do I need to replace the entire yoke? Or is there some kind of fix to that?

no fix, get a new yoke. might as well pick up a new pinion nut while you're at it. technically its a one time use. or i use blue thread locker and zip it down with an impact and re use the old nut. but you gotta do something besides just reusing the old nut.
