Rear wheel bearings 101
I've worked on alot of things. Jets. Boats. Firearms. Apache helicopters. No jeeps though. I have a higher degree of mechanical skill than your average joe but still lacking in the automotive dept. How hard is it to change rear wheel bearings in a chrys 8.25?? I'm at a loss.

The corporate 8.25 has a C clip configuration, that means that you will need to drain the oil and remove the diff cover to gain access to the carrier in order to remove the axles.
Then you remove the center pin where the satellite gears are seated, push in the axles and remove the C clips.
After that you just slide out the axles and you will have the bearing and seal on the tube.
At this point you will need to break the seal and use a slide hammer to pull out the bearing from the tube.
