Default Rear windshield wiper sprays but wont wipe

Rear windshield wiper squirts water when I turn it on but the wiper blade doesn't come on. Sound like a short somewhere worth repairing or should I replace it?

Did you buy a brand new motor or one from the junkyard? I'm hoping to buy a used one on the cheap

Remove whiper and hose. Use as rear squirt gun anti tailgating device.

Mine was stuck also lots of PB Blaster and jiggling on the output spline, now it works fine.

We have a can or two of PB, in fact it's become quite useful lately as it seems we start every project with that. You are probably nodding your hed in agreement. I'm probably the only girl I know who considers it more important than a can of hairspray!
