Default rear wiper

Alright yall, due to some trails, kids playin around my jeep, backin up into a bush or 5, the hose that runs my washer fluid to my rear wiper broke off. I can't find a small enough fitting to go into the assembly, so i'm lookin at goin to pick n pull and getting another one. I have a 96 XJ, can i use the assembly and arm off of a 97+ or does it have to be 86-96 or is there a way to rig a fitting in the assembly without damaging it or the back hatch?

That is a common problem. They usually break. Just think of it as now you have a tailgater getter offer. You can use your rear sprayer to spray windshields of tailgater's. Lol

if you can get the nut to come off without breaking that plastic part, that's all you need.

I thought of that when I replaced my rear wiper motor and was trying to reattach the washer hose. Ended up using a thin strip of duck tape wrapped around the arm and hose to hold it in place. Works ok and adds that custom look......

Not sure if you are talking about the bezel in the hatchback or the wiper arm itself. Either way has to be '96 down. But 93_xjcherokee is right if it is the bezel. Awesome tailgater getter offer. Went on my '96. That thing shoots pretty far.

Yea needs to be '96 and down. Also own a '00. Bezel was broke in that one too. Bezel is different for '97 and up. You might get lucky at the Jeep Dealership, I work in an auto parts store and deal with the guys down there too, scored the one for the '00 from there but they had to get it for me from out of state. Was kinda under the impression I got the last one on the eastern seaboard. I have the idea, if and when this one breaks, on how to fix it. Thinking you would drill a hole where the nipple is big enough for some rubber hose. Connect everything with plastic washer/vacuum connectors, a little more hose, and a little RTV on the inside and outside of the bezel to seal it up a bit where the hose comes through. Not sure if this would work good and hoping I never find out but if I break this one that is what I am going to try. Also assuming it snows where you live so take it easy with the snow brush when cleaning the back window. The one in the '00 was fine until I did that. The plastic being about 14 years old and a little brittle probably did not help either.

Default Rear Wiper Washer Hose

Does anyone know where to buy the rear wiper washer hose? Everything else back there is fine... I just need the hose.

Any auto parts store should have hose. They might have it in bulk. It might be one of those repair kits. Probably give you more hose then you need with that. You need what? 1'. Just has to fit somewhat tight on the nipple on the bezel and the little nipple on the wiper arm itself.

Napa should have some hose you can cut to fit. I did that on my 93 back in 2004.
