Default Receiver hitch nutstrip removal

I recently pulled a hitch from the local jy, but could not get the nutstrip out to go with it. Can anyone give me a clue as to how to get it back out of the frame rail? I am going back to the jy in the morning and would like to get them if they are still there.

Not allowed on the jy lot. Will have to pull it out without cutting anything.

I pulled the bumper off. I know they have to come out through the back of the unirail. I tried every which way possible to pull them out. Just want to know if there is a mysterious trick to get them out.

I will end up using those specs in the long run. I plan on building my bumpers later this year and want to build the rear mounts the way COSXJFAN designed his to go into the unirail. I want them to be a solid recovery point. I am going to build the front mounts so that it strengthens the steering gearbox mounting points as well.

I have a related problem. I cant get the hitch bolts off the hitch at the you-pull-it. The nuts broke loose and are spinning in the nut-strips. D'oh. I can get the hitch for 15 bux or so. No cutting tools allowed.

Ideas anyone?? Besides a cold-chisel and 3 pound hammer and a whole day of hammering large bolts to pieces???
