Well that makes sense. Poutine is basically an edible adhesion promoter.

Lol "Hoser brand"

I used the oven trick to clean the gunk out of the whatever you call them things in the top of the VC. But I did use the farm equip paint on mine.

And I hired a tech from the dealership to finish it up. A little young but cheap.

Excellent, thanks. I've only got one oven so I'll be avoiding that. I'm thinking tomorrow when it's warm (above freezing... go figure) I'll take the valve cover to the coin wash and blast it out with the rip-your-arm-off pressure there.

First thought seeing that pic was "let's see your K&N cone filter do this"

Yeah. I don't think she can stand on it now. I did the specter thing. The farm paint held up well. It was done back in 09. This was this summer.
Mine was tweaked too, so I lightly bolted it to a spare head I had and left it overnight. It straightened out pretty good. No leaks so far.

That's not a bad idea actually, I've got some wood scrap around here that I should be able to bolt that sucker to.

You're going to end up buying your wife a new oven.

I bought a used one for 50 to do powder coating and cleaning. Works good. The wife even uses the top in the summer during cookouts for corn and stuff.
