Default Removal of O2 sensor

Wats the best way to get an O2 sensor out? I have a socket for it but it wont budge, im trying to take the one after the cat out, iv have been spraying for about a weak with some pb

I took mine with a breaker bar. See if you get a friend to hold the socket in while you handle the breaker bar. Less possibility of stripping. You can also try some heat with a torch.

Yea I found my tourch and just heated it up and it came right out

They usually freeze up when cold - it's best to remove the HEGO when it's warm. Idle the engine, or just heat the bung up with a torch. That should loosen it.

(I'll usually remove a HEGO after a short drive, for that very reason.)
