Removing doors on an XJ?
I'm wanting to remove the doors on my Cherokee. I've looked on a bunch of sites but I haven't really found the answer yet because most sites say that to remove the doors you have to do some cutting. Is this necessary? Are there any sites with a step by step tutorial on how to remove the doors? Thanks for the help!

Do you hear banjos?
The only thing you have to worry about is the light switch. If you bypass that, you should be able to remove the doors with no problems!! HTH!! IIRC, there is no cutting to do....anyone else??

cutting is 100% better than any other method. easier to get on/off x10, better to align them..so on.
mine are cut (in fact that write up posted is mine) and i have suffered 0 ill effects from it over 4 years+ now. if u didnt look to see, youd have no idea they were cut or anything was altered the way the doors operate.
i can remove all 4 doors as fast as i can walk around the jeep and pick them up
