I've used a floor jack and a 4x4 piece of wood to install/remove doors on other cars in the past. if you need assistance lining them up that may help.

Yes, if you get T-boned and have no doors your more likely to get hurt and cause more damage to your Jeep. Some people say if you go wheeling with your doors off they will never fit right again. As I understand it DDing with the doors off doesn't have much of an effect but I'll wait for some others to chime in.

It looks like a fantastic right up, a great idea, and something I may try since I have a new door I have to work with anyhow. My main concern is, Does the door have sag/droop or develope sag over time??

And the only thing you may lose when wheeling without doors is side impact protection. They don't offer any structural support. So wheeling without them won't tweak the unibody at all

cutting is 100% better than any other method. easier to get on/off x10, better to align them..so on.
mine are cut (in fact that write up posted is mine) and i have suffered 0 ill effects from it over 4 years+ now. if u didnt look to see, youd have no idea they were cut or anything was altered the way the doors operate.
i can remove all 4 doors as fast as i can walk around the jeep and pick them up

Ppl who say that doors are for structural aren't right. If they were u wouldn't be able open them when flexed. Like the hatch is part of the structural integrity, u can't open it when your flexed. Yes the body will flex a little more with doors off but I have been running no doors for quit a while and they go back on fully sealed and everything, everytime.
