Lot's of different ways but from what've read, full-drooping the front axle including removing the lower control arms is the best way. I believe this would also include unhooking calipers and shocks. You're in for a treat no matter which way you do it.

2012 Jeep compass
Hi guys I’m trying to remove an oil pan on my 2012 Jeep Compass and there is 1 bolt I can’t get to without removing the alternator, is there a way I can do it without removing the alternator? Thank you for the help

How bad is this really? My oil pressure drops after I reach operating temp, goes back up when I accelerate. I have a faint knock that comes and goes, feeling like a new oil pump, lift should fix it but why not do the bearings while I'm down there. Any advice is appreciated
