Thje ground refreshing, C101 cleaning for 87 and 88, sensor ground testing, and connector/relay refreshing cannot be overstressed.
First things to do.

Cruiser,
When I pull it towards myself (I'm assuming you are referring to the metal nipple coming out of the EGR valve the engine immediately dies. Diaphragm also seems to be moving no problem while running your Valve opening test. So I'm assuming for me, it would not be the EGR.

Not sure if this is directed to OP or me. Sorry OP I didn't mean to steal your thread, but with both of us working on this issue maybe we will find some answers

10-4. New ground wires/terminals came in today. Hopefully this weekend I can install to see of that fixes the problem. Already went through the electricala with cleaner. If the grounds don't fix the issue should I look into the O2 sensor?

Thank you Sir, will be ordering this weekend and post results once installed. Looking at NAPA and they have a few differnet ones... any particular brand better than the other? Bosch? Also, should I replace the relay while im at it? It's only an extra $13.

Thanks for all the help guys. Took me a bit to reply because I had to run over to Kentucky and work for a few days. I picked up a new O2 sensor on the way home along with some new fluids and other items. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do that on Monday, while I'm installing my lift kit.

Well, your third paragraph was a pretty good clew. I think your 02 sensor is toast. Here's a rambling link, with a link. You might check it's heater wire/relay, it's ground, and the wiring there in general before you change it.
Right away I'd heat up faster, Idle smoothed out, and mileage went up when I changed mine. >> https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/ren...ce-rms-133153/

"Oddly enough, you are correct."
Check the ground, the 5v feed, and the 12v from the 02 relay, (running) while you are there. That is in the links...

The GB Instruments GMT-18A Analog Meter, seems to be able to at least roughly test a Titania (Renix), 02 sensor.

Hopefully I'll get my sensor on Tuesday, definitely keep us posted on and let us know if the o2 was the trick... also I'm extreme jealous you got a lift. My plan was to get my lift next month, but now that I'm getting married, lift is on hold.
