I know that now 5 cars in lol... When I bought the jeep the po told me all that was wrong with it was the transfer case and vac harness.. Since then like I said, its been vac harness, o2,back brakes didn't work well, emissions guy told me while testing the jeep, sway bar links for death wobble, oil change, plugs, the list just keeps getting bigger, I do thank you all in advance for the help!

The plug socket to the IAC motor seems to be a problem since it faces up, and can hold water. I cleaned my IAC a couple times with an intermittent high idle, before it stopped after I cleaned that plug better.
(Btw, Yea, Ecomike has some rocken stuff!)

ok I get the ground by the dipstick now! Its spotless! The braided cable is pretty bad to the head dirty plus it looks alittle burnt at the end towards the head and if I read the tips right I can replace it with a 4 gauge wire, which I'll do in the morning! The coil only has 2 plugs going into it and looks like it has two other spots for plugs/ wire with a female connector. Am I missing something from that? As far as connector cleaning goes, I'm going to town lol!
another thing is I have a ton of unused wires which I will take pics of... Mainley from pass healight area and one on driverside.

ICM only uses one connector. Here's what the coil/ICM looks like before disassembly..

i have a feeling the wires on the driverside which are the bottom pics have something to do with the valve im missing for the air box? just a big hole in it from po. and thank you cruiser i will add those new grounds from napa and leave the braided one there. dflintstone, thanks for that ill keep it in mind if i have high idle. and if what you are saying is right about the tps ill have to wait till tomorrow to recheck it since i need to add those grounds. fingers are crossed this is all it is.
thanks guys i will update in the morning!

Dynamic, I'd expect four to the ICM. Three on the first plug, then the ECU signal next to it with the one yellow, front, on a double plug. so..the first three front to back, Green/white stripe, to tack. Black ground, Yellow batt. Pos. (voltage! (don't jump it)
Then again, behind those three is the fourth, another yellow, alone, front, on a double plug which is the ECU signal.

It's not really their fault. Heck, some of them wernt even borned yet. Get the wider, 2-1/4 shoes. Their computers are goofy, they think you have a different rear end....yours ARE 2-1/4? Btw if those are bonded, not cracked, and 1/8 of an inch thick I might run them. Why is that upper spring off? (Nice jack btw)

On acceleration your manifold vacuum crashes. The cruse control and the heater/ac stuff uses that vacuum to control things. That get's "charged" with vacuum from a large tube coming off the top of the manifold rear of the TB. It has a check valve and holds vacuum so your vents provide that cool breeze, while you are hammering the throttle. A safety feature?

nice i didn't know that. as far as the brakes go it off because i already overhauled it. when took it for emissions the guy asked me if my brakes work lol... and said i need to fix em before i get the test done. so that pic was during repair so i didnt forget where stuff goes. spent the fifty got springs, adjusters(which were seized a one was making a wierd noise). and pads, but they are the 1/4 size, wish i knew i could go to the bigger one sooner!
