If yours is spraying gas when you twist it, it is a fire hazard NOW. You are past the grace period, lol. Please change them before you have a permanent "overheat" event.

The only way to tell is to have a scanner that can show the live data but some of the easy signs are a poor idle due to it dumping in too much gas, sooty tailpipe with it being wet right on the end, mileage will be horrible. Just some of the easier ways to tell.

Mine always used to be wet on the end of the tailpipe, till I put my muffler on. It still looks kinda sooty in there though. And I get about 13mpg. Think I should do the injector upgrade? I've heard some guys having problems with the swap though. Especially in the renix.

Get the injectors from programbo and you'll be fine. The problems occur when people guess at which injectors to get from the junkyard and they're dirty old things to begin with.

Does your Jeep have a tach?

i got my injectors from the scrapyard for a few bucks and another buck or so for the o-rings.

i got lucky and found some nice ones, didn't clean them, test them or rebuild them, (no pintle caps available).
best upgrade this year.

It's seems to run worse when the engines cold and if i rev the engine and then let off it will almost stall, but if im giving it gas it will run perfect it's only rough at idle whether im in park, reverse, neutral or drive any help would be appreciated
ive also ran seafoam through it a few times
Is idle low or is there a miss causing low idle? Was work done b4 issue or after ?

idle is rough but not like it's missing, once the engine arms up it idles a LOT better. all the work was done after issue. i did just order a set of injectors from a 2.4 dodge stratus off ebay so i just have to wait now

ya i checked the manifold bolts, they're pretty snug. I'm thinkin it's probably just the injector so i'll have the new ones by this weekend and see how much it helps
