repair headliner board?

I always figured if I did this job I would use the 3M 38808.

To be frank I paid to have mine done. My dome light one first. Then when I put in an overhead console had that one done too.
Cost me $125 with me taking it out and bringing it to my guy.
I just figured I would do a crappy job and it was better off this way.
Of course both those headliners were in fine usable shape to begin with so.....

That's what I used works great on headliner fabric but didn't work to well on the foil heat shield stuff. Just used it on that because it's what I had.

appreciate the feedback. I probably used the wrong adhesive, probably meant more for crafting. Oh well, that's on me.
