Ohh, that makes sense. I was picturing something similar in my car and figured it might be CC. My XJ doesn't have cruise

I drilled very small pilot holes and then forced the screws in while I turned them just enough to get them started. Id say the bit needs to be half the diameter of the screw or less. Just enough to get the tip started. Once youve got them snug there is no need to crank them down. These are the screws I used. I always have a pack of these in the house. I use them for lots of fixes and stuff.

Very nice work. Clean, neat. Looks great.

Last week I was having some relay issues. So when I got home I emailed Putco about getting a part number or a replacement. I just received a call from them tonight and they said if I send them a proof of purchase that they would send me a new relays. I will keep you guys updated when I get the relays.

Why not having an extra relay would not be a bad thing and you can't beat the price!

They look to be the same but for the price I can't complain.

Are there better replacement relays for the Putco? Mine haven't given me trouble, but I would like some good spares and not warranty junk if possible.
