Replaced headlight switch... Still no taillights

Replaced headlight switch... Still no taillights
I replaced the headlight switch because the dash lights and tail lights werent working... if i pulled the actuator out really slowly, both of the none working lights will turn on for a split second. This happens with the old and and new headlight switches...

clean the tail light connectors... and check your bulbs sometimes the bulb holders rust inside and need to be wire brushed to make a good coneection again...
