Default Replacing AAL with new 4.5" full leaf packs

Hey guys I have a 4.5" lift installed right now and when I installed it I just got the AAL for it but now im getting tired of the sagging and just ordered a new full pack from RC. The thing is, when I installed my AAL it came with the longer lift shackle for the leaf and now I am wondering when I install my 4.5" full pack do I need to go back to my stock shackle or am I suppose to use the longer shackle still to get to my 4.5 inches or would it make it like 5.5? I just didn't know if the kits with the full packs came with the shackle also or if your just suppose to mount them to the stock shackle.

Call RC to make sure but I do believe those are 4.5" packs and get 4.5" with stock shackles. If you go back to stock shackles get new ones or at least new bushing.

if it was aal w/ a lift shackle, a lift shackle is a lift shackle. you should have done some figuring before you bought the leaves, as you could have prob got by w/ a 3" pack and the 1"-1.5" or whatever shackle you have

Yes but if he is replacing the AAL with 4.5" leaf packs going with a stock shackle will actually be better then 3" packs with a lift shackle IMHO. It will also give him room to grow if he wants.

yeah thats why I bought the 4.5" leafs because I might want to go an inch higher in the future when I need new tires. The lift shackle actually have two mounting points, im at the lowest point point now for more lift and the next mounting position is about an inch higher but I don't have my stock shackle with me here to measure if it is stock length. I was just hopeing that someone else had a similar setup that could inform me.
