Default Replacing headliner and carpet?

Got the carpet that was stained tore out and the headliner that was hanging down, now I want to replace it what do y'all recommend ?

I got a headliner kit plus glue off eBay for 50 bucks put it in under 4 hours and looks great

For the headliner, search for Heads Up replacement kits. They're about $50-60 plus you'll need to purchase the adhesive as well. It's a pretty sweet kit that's pretty easy for a beginner and it takes a few hours to complete. Definitely is a worthwhile investment.

I'm not sure on the carpet however.

I purchased carpet from stockinteriors.com for my Chevy truck and was very happy with the product. It fit very well I just had to trim around the edges a little.

A little bondo or fiberglass for the head liner to get it smooth then hammer finish paint. I did that to mine and it came out awesome..

i just replaced my 90 with one from a 99. looks better than original.

Have u steam cleaned and shampooed the carpet? Some stains come out that way. i used to work at a auto detailer and we got the dirt and stains out easy fast and cheap

Did you try to bring it home from the JY in your XJ like me? Lol I road home with it sitting on my head. Didn't occur to me how it was going to fit.
