I went to Harbor Freight yesterday in hopes of doing exactly that - finding a cheap wrench to get me through this one job. I didn't find what I was looking for, so I just ordered decent tools from Amazon. You really can't go wrong spending money on tools that aren't going to fail you later on down the road, if not the first time around, so what the heck. I'll wait a couple days longer.

(I should probably clarify that I have never personally had the pleasure of doing business with "harbor freight" btw. Cheap seems to be paramount to a lot of peeps.)

Generally, if it has a cord or battery, it's junk. But I recently bought a 12" miter saw from them, but ONLY because it had been reviewed very favorably in Family Handyman magazine. Turned out to be a decent saw. It's no Bosch, but it will do for my purposes.
I've also bought things that broke the first time I used them.
So, it's very much a pick and choose thing. Mostly I get consumables from them, but even there you have to be careful. Cut-off wheels for an angle grinder are really cheap from HF, but they have this nasty habit of flying apart on you! Never again!

I think the only things I've bought from HF to date are a cheap set of allen wrenches I could leave at work and a hacksaw.

Ok, guys. Got the new hose on, super easy fix. The 18mm crowfoot was the key, thanks for the tip! I bought a single Sunex wrench off amazon - not a super great quality tool, but got the job done.
