Replacing rear axle- what years interchange?
Daughter got hit so we are replacing the rear axle in our 94 4wd Cherokee that has ABS.
It's a Dana 35 axle- what years /models will interchange? Do we need to be concerned with the Abs?
thanks in advance!

Too far away, I'm in NY. Go to a Junk Yard and look for a 99, 00, or 01 with ABS. That axle will be a direct swap. Really simple. Just be sure to buy new U bolts (don't reuse the old ones) and torque them down 85ft/lbs if I'm mot mistakes.
D35 around here is under $100
Good luck.

Doesn't need to be from a specific year. Just grab an ABS D35 out from under any XJ.
In case you were not aware, the Dana 35 is the only model that came with ABS on XJs.
