I think any lift company would sell you individual leafs springs. You may not see them on their sites but you just call them up. But remember, at 3 inches of lift you still need other parts....longer brake lines, trackbar, lower control arms possibly, and maybe an sye if you get driveline vibes.

Yikes, that I was not aware of... it would seem that maybe I need to forgo the 31s and just squeeze the biggest buggers in there I can. What is the biggest size I can run on stock? or with the dormans and 1" spacer?

as far as I know this is the cheapest 3" lift. You might need to relocate the track bar( drill a new hole) and relocate the brake lines

What about this one? Trail Master

I was trying to stay under 400 before tires, but if that is simply impossible then its simply impossible.

depends on the shipping....personally I would go with the Zone kit. They have a good reputation and it ships free

if you piece it out it's going to cost you more...ubolts are around $40, cheapest shocks are used jk rubicon take offs from Ebay--just say $80 shipped, leafs alone will be $300, then coils $120..also if the leafs don't come with bushings that is extra.....that's why the zone kit is a good deal....you can also check Rusty's, but the shipping is usually going to bring the price over Zone's

Do the 2" shackles and dorman + spacer up front work?

These are 103/piece

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000CNA0...I2SUXRE1QG6Y7S

I'm not a big fan of procomp normally, but these are a 5-leaf pack and they include the bushings.

Or you could go with the Husky springs for a durango at around the same price:
http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/j...af+spring,7544

Or the zone pack for 116 a piece
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B017CBRX...I2SICC4CYZKHK2

Then get a set of ACOS for 215
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B005TTZ7...I1XC5GX50Q7QGL

You'd only be about 50 bucks cheaper than the zone kit by that point though... however, you can always use that 50 to get other parts you'd need for a 3" lift.... extended brake lines, track bar, etc.

But yeah, 2" won't fit 31s without trimming. You could do 30" tires, but you'd have less tire options.

I would say 235/75r15 tires are your best bet.

also about the tail master kit you mentioned, I would avoid that.

I would question the validity of that answer--one of the reviews said it is for one. The q&a answer is from "liftkitsforless", but the item is sold by trends auto

this is the "trends auto" pair, with u-bolts and bushings

also just wanted to add--you will need an alignment after the lift install....and you might get drive line vibrations at 3" (more common with an '01 and '00 ). You can temporarily use a t case drop until you save the money for a SYE--which is my next question; which transfer case do you have?

I have no idea what transfer case I have. And if I went and looked at it I would have nothing to reference it to.

So what Im gathering is I either spend the bucks on a 3" lift and the extras to fit the 31s. or just simply go the 100% stock route and stuff 235/75s in there and keep the cost down? or is going stock the same price?
