You need to get em mounted so you can tell me how they ride. I am seriously considering a set.

You and me both.. atleast for my next set. Except for the shipping (about $18 a tire) they are about the same price I paid for Goodyear Wrangler Radials from Walmart.

Yep but you must compare apples to apples ... MT to MT and the price is pretty darn good. I am still leary of retreads but may consider em.

Heck even comparing MTs to ATs... If you can get MTs for a smidge more than ATs that is a good deal.

I did get them mounted, and I LOVE them. Awesome in the mud, awesome in the snow, awesome in the rain. Quiet, balanced easily, and ride great.

The one thing you can pretty much find on all retreads is the "buffing" on the sidewall. A friend of mine used to own a tire store so I've been around a few retreads. The other thing you can look for is that allot of re-treads are not the same brand tire, such as you will have a cooper tire, bfg, hankook, and firestone but have one tread pattern. I have a set like this out in my shop

well even if they are retreads, as long as they ride and perform good who cares...heck i might try to find a set, they seem to be way cheaper, and im sure the making process is similar to the original
