well, took a vactaion to lusiana and.. got home... put it back in.. adjusted it for 30 min... still nothing.......... im lost. i need an inspection lol

Grab a multimeter or a test light. Plug it into the contacts on the plug comming from the engine bay and see if it has 12v (make sure your key is in the on position).
Check your fuse. I cannot stress enough to make sure your contacts are clean. While the fuse is out clean the fuse AND the fuse block.
I had issues with mine. Eventually got fed up and ran new wires. Mounted a relay under the rear seat where the jack is. Wired a small led and resistor in parallel with the output to be positive it worked.
Also check the wiring on the lights themselves. I've fixed several bulb holders with a soldering iron and solder. The connectors just dont make good contact when they are older.

Yes , I was reading this forum and realized this .Just bought an 89 jeep cherokee and searching/reading through some pesky problems ..For many years I have used forums ( Ford truck enthusiast)etc…andnow having a jeep there is tons of info.I do appreciate your reply as it was my first post .the search button in forums is a powerful tool .TR
