Default Revs up and down by itself.

Woke up this morning to start up my 96 keep cherokee 2wd I6. Started fine then rpms dropped to i'd say 300ish with misfires for good 10 seconds and then revs itself up to 2500rpm. Then goes back down to 300. Keeps doing it. If i press throttle it dies. I already tried replacing map and crank sensor. No luck. Could not find any vacuum leaks either. Fuel pump checks out. Anyone ever ran into this before?

My first guess would be to clean and/or replace IAC and clean the throttle body.

So maybe a vacuum leak.
What brand IAC did you use?
New aftermarket are hit or miss.
Why most times best to use Mopar parts. Not using a Mopar IAC might not be as critical as a CPS but still.
What was the condition of the little rubber elbow to the MAP sensor?

I always use oem parts for that reason. Dont want to be second guessing if the aftermarket sensors will work. MAP sensor L hose was in good shape. No cracks or anything.

Everything checked out fine. Got carb cleaner and sprayed it into intake. It idles ok as long as im spraying carb cleaner into intake. So fuel issue. On fuel pump relay output to pump is 6VDC with ignition on. Not sure if its wiring issue. But tomorrow i will be running 12VDC straight to pump to see if it idles ok
