I ordered gears for my Chrysler 8.25 (from a vendor on pirate) and they showed up today. When i placed the order I bought USA Standard gears, and when they came, i got a USA Standard box. The first thing that bothered me is on the label it says "MIGHT BE NOISY."

The next thing that bothered me was when i opened the box, my first thought was "wow, these gears have marking paint on them, have they been installed already?"

After further inspection, i find the word "EXCel" on the ring gear, and some quick searching shows me that these are not USA Standard gears, but Richmond EXCel gears. There isn't much about them on the internet, and even searching on here for "excel" comes up with no results.


Does anyone know anything about these gears? Are they good? Should i send them back?
