RIMS!
Okay, so I think I know what I want to do as a first modification on my Jeep. I know for a fact I am not lifting it because it's 2WD. So, does anybody have any good websites for Rim Shopping? I know lots of people are going to tell me just paint the ones I already have and do a real good job, and I've looked into it and it's cool. I'd also like to look at aftermarket rims because they also look cool. Just want to poke around and see what I can find. I'm a HUGE FAN of Black Rims. (Anyone that knows me, knows that.) I don't want riced up rims, but if your a Jeep Owner with Black Rims, you'll get me I think? I hope so...Hahaha Sorry if I'm making this confusing. :P Thanks for any help!!!
(I.E, how do you think the Rims in the photo would look painted black? (They are the ones on mine) )

Hey!
I think the most popular rims Jeepers use may be the Cragar Soft 8's. They look pretty cool and are very affordable as well. I ended up not going with the crowd and bought some Cragar V5's and love them. There's also Cragar D-Windows. These three go for around $58.00 a rim depending where you order them from. I got my V5's off of quadratec.com. Great customer service and speedy shipping.
The most important things you want to consider if your going to order new rims are:
Bolt pattern: XJ's are 5x4.5
Backspacing: If you do order Cragars, the 7" wide rims (what I have) have 4" backspacing which gives your truck a bit more of a wider and aggressive stance than sticking with stock rims.
Rim width/Rim diameter: The two go hand-in-hand. My Cragars are 7" wide and 15" in diameter and have 30" tires mounted on them. These rim specs would suffice for up to 32" tires (arguably, I'm not an expert).
Tire diameter: Make sure to match the tire specs up with the rim specs so that the two will seat properly together.
Even if you have a 2wd I would say try a 2" lift and some 30" tires on 15" rims, its a fun setup that gives your truck a good stance and slightly better offroad capabilities than stock. check out Zone Offroad's products. Allen at AOR in the vendor section sells them and I couldn't be happier with mine.
If you have any questions feel free to message me, I know I'm not a CF vet but I'll do my best haha.
Have fun!

Thanks! I did, haha! Didn't find to much. But maybe I'm just impatient. I'm looking at the (Cragar Soft 8's 397 Series Rims) I hear they are common. They look really nice though! Debating how it would look on mine.
