Ripped belt, P/S pulley, intake manifold

Cruiser54...seriously? as a moderator this is how you respond to people asking for help? The picture is fine. it's not a picture of all the pulleys because they all line up now. If you read the post you would know that my concern was why I had to push the P/S pulley on so far to get them to line up, and you would have also read that I did use a straight edge. Maybe this is normal but I've never had to push one on so far, or maybe it's a Band-Aid and something else is wrong. People go back and read this thread you'll see most people didn't read my question. I've been on many forums and I know something about cars. Trust me, I looked this thing over before I started typing. It's working fine so I'll just leave the 1/4" of excess shaft. Sorry to bother everyone.

AlohaDSM, yeah rent it from an auto parts store. It works better than just a bolt and washer because it's actually riding on a bearing to press it on. And they will give you 100% of your money back.

He can be a little cranky. So will I when I'm 84 years old. Just smile and be gratefuller that he is here to share what he can remember.
Yea, I didn't fully grock it. A ripped belt? Pull it, theck the pullys, fix the problem and save that as an emergency spare if it worked at all. You are cool with me smoken joe. best of luck to you!
