I still need to put the exhaust manifold and my new header on. Also waiting for my new radiator before I can fire it up.

Should I prime it with a drill through the distributor?

And it will ease your concern of the rocker arms being loose. Once the oil pump is primed, you should see oil coming up onto all the rockers and they should be tight

I know its been a while since my last post but just the other day I finally got the jeep all put back together and shes runnin again with no issues, and yes I did end up priming the the oil system with a drill until oil was shown coming from the rockers and yes the lifters did tighten up at that point. Thank you to all for the advice on this topic.

Kinda of a new topic, I need a new distributor mine is making the chirping noise. What distributors do y'all recommend?
