my chereokee aint no slouch, its been worked on, rebuilt, regeared, headers, exhausst ,intake, bla bla bla..
and my little civic will drive circles around it..

Hard to believe, but I got out of that predicament without a scratch (sure used the rock rail and rear bumper tho)
Having said that, neither side of the rig is very pretty due to worse predicaments than that pictured.

I didn't really notice a difference in mpg, can I can feel the wheel up there. Actually when I feel the difference is when I take it down. Jeep feels less
top heavy and a little less body roll.

I've got a surco rack on my '99. It has a stud mounted on the cross bar that pokes through the wheel hole with a nut & washer to hold it down.
