roof supports not attached
a while back i decided to pull out my headliner to find out the two roof supports that attach to the roof on the interior arent even touching it anymore like the factory glue whatever it is just didnt hold so im wondering if this has happened to anyone else and how u fixed it?? or any ideas on what i should use to fix it would be great
ill grab some pics when the sun comes up
so far im thinkin simpson strong tie construction epoxy and just using a bottle jack and 2x4 to push the supports up to the roof maybe even a tack weld here and there
its time to do something theres nothing like a sheet metal roof with no support going 70 on the freeway with the windows down

Mine was not touching either (now it really isn't since i rolled it). you can put new glue and i would put cinder blocks on the roof itself to being it down to the crossmember.
What i did with mine was stick a piece of fleece in-between the crossmember and the roof and it doesnt rattle or anything like it used to
