Update: So I was able to induce the vibrations, threw it in park, checked my motor and trans mounts, which were fine, rolled underneath and lo and behold the vibration seems to be coming from the flex plate. That would make sense to me that a TC drop would exacerbate an already cracked flexplate. I've already checked and locktited the flexplate bolts, I wasn't able to see cracks at the time. Tomorrow I'm going to use Cruiser54's method to check.

I wasn't able to find any cracks in the flexplate. I had a mechanic that the local xj group recommended check it out and he recommend swapping the harmonic balancer, which is visibly going bad. I'm skeptical that would be it but agree it wouldn't hurt. If it's not the harmonic balancer or flexplate, the only other idea I have would be torque converter, which could be done when the trans is dropped to check the flexplate. I uploaded a walk around video if anyone wants to throw anymore ideas out there before I shell out the cash to have the trans dropped.
Thanks for the help guys!

Well, it turns out that my xj is not as mint as I had previously believed and whenever someone was putting the transmission back in they failed to torque down the bolts connecting the bellhousing to the block. That solved 80% of my noises. Now I just have some noise turning under power, problems for another day...

I have another question on this issues. I just added a shackle relocation which probably bumped me to 4.5" in the back and I got noticeable driveline vibration so I put the TC drop back on today and now my vibration while moving are gone but it vibrates like crazy at idle while on the brakes in drive. As soon as you start moving it goes away completely and it significantly lessens when you are in neutral or park (but still noticeably more than previously). Any ideas at what I should look into?
