Default RPM to Speed Chart

I was bored so I got onto Excel and made a chart that will tell you your speed based on your engine RPM. I set it for the specifics of my 97' Cherokee but you can change any of the factors (I put the changeable factors in dark grey as to not mess up any math) and the chart will display your speed in miles per hour. I also included a metric tire size conversion if needed (my tires are metric). I'm sure someone has already made one of these and I know there are speed calculators all over the internet, I just wanted something that worked better for me, but anyone can use it. Enjoy!

And if any of my math is wrong just tell me and I will fix it.

Here is a picture of it if, for some reason, the file fails to load.

good job!!!

and kudos for you.... many don't grasp that overall ratio, RPM, and forward speed are all a mathematical certainty... give two and the third is known... if it isn't, something is wrong, and most likely with the transmission... (I can't type tranny with a straight face since a former olympian crossed that great divide)... < true story.

Thanks!

I just made this so I could run different setups through my head, see which combination works the way I want it to. Didn't really think of it but it can be used for finding problems too.
