Rpms fluctuate when coming to stop and low idle
Alright so im not new to reading this forum been doing so for about 6 years now, woot. I am a new member though... finally haha. So I understand not to ask questions without a thorough search. I could not find anything other than what I have already done with no progress. So here I am.
So im currently on my second XJ. I decided to do the fuel injector upgrade with the Dodge Neon injectors. The reason I mainly decided to do this was becuase I was experiencing the heat soak problem and had to pull them out anyway to wrap them in heat shield. I refurbished them myself with new o rings and pintel caps after a good 2 hour soak in seafoam. Thankfully the heat soak cylinder misfire is fixed.
Heres the problem I am now having after installing them.
My jeep now has a low idle and goes from 400 - 800 rpms intermittently while stopping. I also notice it while I accerlate the rpms fluctuate.
This is what I have done so far:
Cleaned the IAC and throttle body.
Also just replaced the TPS.
All the vaccuum lines are good as well.
I dont have an EGR valve or PCV becuase its a 2001.
The only other thing I can think of is low fuel pressure or the MAP sensor failing.
Thanks in advance for any comments/suggestions.

I solved this about a week ago. It was the fuel pressure. I had a leak in the fuel line where the bracket attaches it to the intake manifold. It had rusted and when I took out my fuel injectors to wrap them in heat shield to fix the heat soak issue it scraped the fuel line enough to produce the leak. Thanks for your responses though!
